Prayer For New British Prime Minister Brown

Author : Mark Crossley   Top Author

Christian Articles Resource Cross Lord, As the British wait for our British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to take office and move from 11 to 10 Downing Street on June 27th 2007 we pray also that as the other candidates decide who will be Deputy Prime Minister and also Deputy Leader of the Labour Party we pray for these people as they take key Government posts to run key departments of our land to make a difference for all.

We pray for the newly appointed Prime Minister elect He will commit and deliver further on the promises He says from his priviledge position in high office as he decides upon a new cabinet.

Lord I pray they will use their powers, skills and do what is right for the people of the United Kingdom rather than for self gain or because of personal differences within the Government.

We pray you will lead them to yourself and they will pray about the decisions they make.

We ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
